What was your inspiration?

I created this hat originally for my daughter. I wanted a simple, cute boutique-style hat that could be worn for dressy occasions as well as for casual winter wear.

What are you most proud of?

This was the first crochet pattern I designed and has continued to be one of my biggest sellers! Many online boutiques sell adorable hats made from this simple pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Many people have used this pattern as their very first crochet project, however, if you are brand-new to crocheting, you should make sure you have an understanding of how to work your basic stitches (YouTube is a great help!).
