Spring Fling: Basket weave scarf

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Weave Scarf knit neckwarmer unisex »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Cute, Whimsical, Casual, Funky

Materials

Caron's Simply Soft in Persimmon

What are you most proud of?

It was easier than I thought to do the parts that are woven together. I was worried it would be difficult but the instructions make it simple.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I have a bit of a perfectionist in me so I counted how many rows I did to make sure my scarf ends and woven strips all matched. So an extra row counter came in handy for me. And don't be afraid of having so many ends to weave in. Since this scarf actually has a "wrong" side, it's easy to hide them all.

Thanks! It's actually not even i-cord! :) it's four split strips of plain stockinette that are curling in on themselves
