What materials did you use? Pure cotton fabric designed by Kaffe Fassett; Mettler cotton thread; Hobbs polyester wadding (batting)

What are you most proud of? The cheerful brightness of the finished quilt is very uplifting. In fact, before we show visitors into our guestroom where the quilt lives, we suggest that they may like to put on their sunglasses first!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's an easy pattern and goes together very quickly if you chain-piece the various sections of fabric. There are several ways the blocks can be arranged, so have fun finding the one you like best! I think I shall use this pattern again, but with less colours to see how it comes out.

Hi pat. What book is this in. It's beautiful.

Thank you! It's in "Jelly Roll Quilts" by Pam and Nicky Lintott which you should be able to get quite easily from Amazon if your local quilt shop doesn't have it. It's published by D&C (David & Charles) both in the UK and the US. The two examples in the book don't look much like mine, which demonstrates how different you can make a quilt, even if you follow the pattern really faithfully (as I did), just by using different fabric. If you make it, do please publish a picture - I'd be so interested to see it! Patricia

Thank you! It looks far more difficult than it actually was -it went together in no time at all with no complications whatsoever.
