What was your inspiration?

My quilting club decided that each of us had to make a star quilt or our choice. I just happened to see the Spinning Star block at McCallsquilting.com and got a little carried away with cutting blocks and ended up with twenty five 12.5" blocks of the little beauties.

I used Sharon Pederson's Reversible Quilts technique again to join my blocks.

Thanks to Craftsy and Wendy Butler Berns for my easily mitered corners which I learned to do from the Art Quilting 101 class.

What are you most proud of?

I'm very happy to have met my deadline for the completion of this project. There was no quilt pattern provided with this block and I'm pretty happy with the way my quilt turned out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

go to www.mccallsquilting.com and search for the Spinning Star Block or search for item # 8327
