Wheel of Fortune - a paper pieced quilt pattern »

Instructions

The quilt pattern will be made available on Monday, 1/28/2013

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Mod

Materials

Over 218 different quilting cotton prints, Aurifil 50 wt thread for piecing and quilting, and Kona Ash and Coal for the background fabrics.

What was your inspiration?

My inspiration was the mosaic of favorites that my partner in this swap made, which was full of color, scrappiness, and precise piecing.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the scrappiness in this quilt! It was a lot of fun to pull all the fabrics together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Tackle it one block at a time - plan out the colors and fabrics for one block at a time, as the blocks take a bit longer than your average block to put together.

From the photo the fabric looks like crinkled wrapping papper. Would like to see the pattern for this block.
