Instructions

I used the "Economy" pattern in McClun and Nownes, Quilts Galore - added a border. The front of the T.V. cozy is quilted, but then I added an extra fabric back [with left over strips of the Spiderman fabric, but mostly solid blue] to make up the "envelope" for the cozy. This kind of T.V. Cozy is easy for newer flat screen TVs.

Materials

Fat Quarters of "Amazing Spiderman" novelty fabric, plus some yardage of coordinating blue cotton, red, and an additional Spiderman fabric. Cotton batting.

What was your inspiration?

My husband's boyish love of Spiderman.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Do a better job at figuring out the total dimensions of the piece. I ended up folding over the top border of the front panel to bring up the length so it hung straighter.
