What was your inspiration?
The tiny flowers on the fabric and the fabric shimmer, I thought it should be like a jr. brides maid's dress.
What are you most proud of?
The buttons. With that being the best, here is what I think of the rest.
This pattern was harder than I expected. No matter how I ironed, it seems like I can't get the bodice to lay right.
So even in the photo's it appears to be off. I am hoping that when it is worn, the front will lay correctly when filled out??
It is a size 7/8 in girls, and my model who I sew for is a size 4 who just turned 4. Most of the dresses I post on here are size 6 or 7 since the size 4 and 5 never make it on here. I hope to get her to put on some of the outfits and dresses so I can take photo's.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I really don't know what to write, as I pressed my seams after every seam was sewn. It is a princess type of pattern, with a lot of pieces, maybe I could have trimmed more or clipped my seams. It is always a learning experience for me, and my entertainment.
