Made with a tool that's a cross between a crochet hook and a knitting needle, Tunisian crochet adds great texture and beautiful color to Jennifer Hansen's versatile and stylish garment.

What are you most proud of? It finished really well for a first time project. I was really glad it stopped curling up after I wet and dried it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time to get things right if this is your first try with Tunisian crochet. As you practice it gets easier and becomes more automatic.

This is the spa cloth I made with the Tunisian crochet class. The color looks different with and without flash. As you can see, my tension got tighter as I went along, so it turned out a bit lopsided. Also, a few of the stitches in some of the middle rows aren't quite right. I'm going to do another practice one. It was fun to try new technique and a yarn I haven't used before (silk/bamboo).
