What was your inspiration?

The Southern Comfort Neck Cozy is a new addition to my Southern Knitting Collection, patterns for items that can be enjoyed year-round by knitters and knitting lovers in all climates.

What are you most proud of?

Love the simple, ruffled button hole.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Find some yummy bulky yarn from your stash, or splurge on that bulky weight cashmere you've had your eye on. This project takes only 60 yards of bulky weight yarn and 80 yards of lace mohair. If you don't want to use mohair, you can use any lace weight or fingering weight yarn. Make your cozy really special with a beautiful button or you can even use a vintage pin!

Pattern will also include directions for making a child sized version.
