What are you most proud of? Getting the bias tape to lie flat. I am all thumbs with it. I had tried to make some out of a cute aqua print for this top. But I clearly need more practice to get it right. So, store bought pale lemon had to do. I did French seams at the shoulders and sides. I love the finish they give.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time. It sews quickly. If you are a mix of sizes, make a muslin. This pattern is so simple, it's easy to alter.

How did you find the fit. Too big, too small, or just right? It is a cute top. I have a nighty pattern much the same. I need pratrice I think maybe sewing bias double thinkness, and then sewing down seam allowance might be a good way to fix this. I used satin for my nighty the cudlely kind. Love the feel of it.

I will try to add a pic of the top on me, but im not very adept at self-portraits. The fit is okay. I have a very large bust so I tend to look dumpy if I'm not careful. But this top will just be for running errands, etc. I plan to try modifying this because it is so easy to sew and I love easy. Would love to see your nightie.
