Instructions

Use a length of wire and ball the ends using a torch. Twist and curl the wire into a pattern that you like. Then, wrap your piece as usual, inserting your length of curled wire into one side of the wrap to hold it in place. I also chose to ball the ends of my wrapped wires.

What was your inspiration?

I saw a wrapped piece in a fashion magazine that had the wire ends balled. I loved the look and wanted to recreate it with one of my designs.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to try something new. It took me two tries before I figured out how to incorporate the heavier wire into the piece. Just keep working at it!
