What was your inspiration?
I enjoyed making the teal shawl so much, I decided to make another as an engagement gift for my sister-in-law.
What are you most proud of?
My sister-in-law loved it and wore it at the wedding.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I love how the shawl turned out, but I was INSANE in my yarn choice and use. The wool/silk yarn I used was way too stretchy, and even as a total novice I should have guessed that fluffy yarn should never be used in the warp! I was constantly picking felted blobs out of my heddle! My yarn choice was dictated by my only available yarn shop's range, but it would have been better to only use the fluffy yarn in the weft and use a totally different, less stretchy yarn in the warp. At least I learned something from it, though!
