What advice would you give someone starting this project? This little soldier was made from a knitted tube. Once the black section was completed I reversed the right and wrong side. After stuffing the head, I ran a row of stitches around the neck a pulled it to gather, forming the neck. I then stuffed the body. For the base I crocheted a circle in black. I attatched it to the bottom with single crochet. Then I put two single crochet in each stitch all the way around the base, to create the frill at the bottom. To form the arms I ran a row of stitches from the arm pit down to the blue. Put a few stitches in for the wrist. I also ran a row of stitches between the blue and red to form the waist. Finally I embroidered the eyes and lips to form the face.
