Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, Embroidery Floss, Polyester Fiberfill, Hook & Loop Dots Fasteners, Styrofoam safe glue (Polyseamseal?), Foam Saved From Meat Tray, 8 oz. Powdered Creamer Bottle.

What was your inspiration?

This is another Caitlin Maclaine pattern featuring recycled materials that would normally be thrown away. I like it because it pays tribute to our military.

What are you most proud of?

This was so easy to make and everyone I've shown it to loves it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be intimidated by this project. The stitch pattern creates the shapes needed and they are basic crochet stitches. Make sure the meat tray is washed with hot, soapy water and thoroughly dried before using. The creamer bottle required for this project can also be obtained along with the pattern.
