What was your inspiration?
The weather in Oregon has suddenly turned to very chilly. One day I was running errands and within an hour, the temperature had dropped almost 10 degrees. I really wished I had worn a hat. So I came home and knitted this very super soft little cloche to tuck inside my purchase for times when the weather sneaks up on me.
What are you most proud of?
I like how it can be rolled up inside my purse for days and still look good when I need it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Learn to measure, calculate your stitches per inch on different needs with different yarn and always knit a gauge swatch.
