What materials did you use? yarn from unravellling a skirt, size 4 circular needles

What are you most proud of? that i didnt screw up the unravelling too much, considering i read how to do it AFTER i did it-and the yarn is so well suited to this pattern,!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? the pattern takes some trial and error to understand, this is my 2nd attempt and it went smoother, so i suggest a test run with a sample yarn until you figure out how to knit it- as for repurposing old knitted items into yarn, do a search and find a tutorial on it, probably better than trrial and error!!

I love your cowl scarf. Admire your repurposing. Love the flecky marl to the yarn. Brava!

thank you! the skirt has been in the back of the closet fo a couple years, i didnt want to give it away because it was so soft & textured! i guess it was there waiting for me to take it apart and reuse it-a bit of work but worth it!!
