What was your inspiration?
I have designed this for my friends baby who is yet to arrive! He or she is due in July so I wanted to make a blanket soft and light enough to be used in summer. I also hoped for a traditional feel but with a modern look, I hope I have achieved it!
What are you most proud of?
I love the fact that the zigzag pattern has almost a 3D texture that I didn't expect.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have a go! It looks complicated but really isn't. It's just 3 easy panels joined with simple stitches.
