What materials did you use? It took about 300g of soft cream 4ply wool

What are you most proud of? I love the fact that the zigzag pattern has almost a 3D texture that I didn't expect.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have a go! It looks complicated but really isn't. It's just 3 easy panels joined with simple stitches.

Hi. I am beginner/interm I guess, lol crocheter, looking to make a christening blanket for my great nephew/godson and found this. I have already out budgeted myself and purchased 1 skein (100g/1000yds) 1 ply fingering scrumptious lace wool/silk yarn. Will this be enough and work nicely for this blanket? Cant afford to buy more. Also, you mention you provide tutorial. How detailed are they please and are they with pictures? US Version Also, do you think placing white ribbon inside the edging is possible? Thank you kindly PS This is gorgeous, seems elegant and unique but NOT frilly, lol which is what Im trying to accomplish

Hi there, thanks for your message. It's so lovely to make for a special baby! 1ply is extremely fine so it will take a long time (the pattern is for 4ply) but will work nicely if you have the time. The ribbon would be lovely around the edge too - just work it around the last round and it will be perfect! Best wishes, Hannah
