What are you most proud of? I figured out a way to remove the heel and reknit it without taking the whole sock apart. If you want to know how to do that click here: http://www.lupinworks.com/knitting/heel/

I am just finishing a batik jelly roll quilt and I found yours...beautiful! Loving your socks too. I have plenty of sock yarn but just cant get the hang of it. Like to knit so maybe I should try again? Yours make me jealous! You are one very talented soul! Darice

Sock knitting is easy - just mostly knitting in a circle - the cuff is K/P, the heel is simple and decreasing for the toe isn't difficult. Here is a link to the pattern I use (http://www.lupinworks.com/knitting/basicSockPattern-2.html). Lots of other sock knitting info here (http://jmn111.wordpress.com/knittingsewing-tips/)

sweet! I love to brng projects on camping trips and knitting is so much easier to pack compared to my sewing machine. (yes, I have done that too!) Thanks for the tips!

Do you know where I can get your pattern? Your links don't work. It says it can't open it because it is a local file.

Tam, if the links aren't active - select the link content, copy and paste it into the line at the top of your browser. The links do work and the site is active. Judith
