What was your inspiration?

I was getting bored knitting my basic, although very reliable, sock pattern. I bought a book, "Super Stitches Knitting", which inspired me to try every single one of the 1,000+ stitches it illustrates.

What are you most proud of?

I guess just the variety...this is really good way to test a stitch without making a major commitment to a project, such as a top/sweater. If you want to try our a stitch, socks are a great way to do that. The grey striped sock has SIX different stitches below the ribbing - 3 on each sock - it was fun!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't limit yourself...ANY knitting stitch can be incorporated into a sock!
