What was your inspiration?
Designed by Catherine Wingate. First published in The Sock Calendar, a sock-of-the-month book. The book is out of print but the single pattern is available now as either a downloadable pdf or printed edition.
What are you most proud of?
When I used to make kits for these socks to sell, I was buying up all the 'chocolate' ribbon I could find in the craft and sewing stores for miles around. The sales clerks were probably wondering what I was doing with all that chocolate-colored ribbon!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Of course, you could use another color ribbon than 'chocolate', but that is my favorite indulgence when I think about relaxing and de-stressing. What's yours?
