The thumbs are shaped on this pattern making them fit so much better than other patterns - but they're a little challenging. The basic part of the mittens are very easy and I'm always available for questions!Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
There's so many cute crocheted accessories out there right now, but I couldn't find any mittens that didn't look a tree branch (with a limb sticking stiffly out from it) so I created my own - with SHAPED thumbs! :)
What are you most proud of?
The shaped thumbs - they're so comfortable!!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just follow the thumb instructions to the letter, and they should come out fine. There's no real "hard and fast" directions in here so if you miss a stitch here and there, it won't be a problem.
