What are you most proud of? I gave up at 3 am and went to bed for a few hours..... At 7 when I work up I realized why the head was causing me problems and made myself a note to check out my thoughts after work. I know from experience once I sit down to sew the world disappears and it's hours before I stop. I actually remembered my thoughts that night and began re-piecing the head. Once I got it right, it was only a few minutes before the toy was ready to begin stuffing. Then came the fun of deciding what to do for eyes. I toyed with the though of applique then settled on French Knots done with some cording scraps I've had tucked away for a billion years.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Add some ribbon, curve the wings and ears a bit and tack them down. (PST I used batting in the wings to give them some substance.) Sit back and let the little darling tell you it's secrets..... If she weren't for someone else I think I'd name her Abby and keep her....
