Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Whimsical, Cute, Holiday

Materials

Crochet thread, acrylic paint, small pingpong size white ornament, a bit of ribbon, small flower.

What was your inspiration?

While crocheting a teacup, it looked like a hat. I had recently bought a bag of small ornaments at a garage sale. I make my grandchildren an ornament for their tree every year. Lightbulbs flashed!!! Still have not finished the teacup but I have 3 snowcowboys and 3 snowgirls to give to my grandbabies.

What are you most proud of?

I haved turned into my mother.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The style of the hat can be changed just by flipping the brim into a different position.
