Draw a rough shape of a snowman in a piece of paper. Consider size so that it fits your jar. Cut shape. Take a piece of flannel big enough to fit your design two times. Fold in middle, right sides together. Pin the paper snowman on cloth. Sew around design leaving a small hole on the bottom to turn it. Remove paper. Turn right side out using an object such as an old pen with no ink to define seams. Press. Fill the snowman with cotton. Use small balls of cotton and put them in place with the pen until you are satisfied with the shape. Hand sew the seam opening. Use a marker for eyes. Break the tip of the skewer and glue it for nose. You can add a little blush in snowman cheeks. Cut a piece of ribbon for scarf, tie it and glue it in place. Place pins for buttons.
