The yarn supplied with the kit, but I'm making more with knitting worsted of various brands from my stash.
What was your inspiration?
When I saw these in the catalogue, I just couldn't resist making them, plus I have a neighbour who loves snowmen and I knew these would make the perfect gift. Now, I've started a second and third set because my granddaughters saw them and fell in love with them.
What are you most proud of?
How cute they look! My delight in giving them. Completing the project.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Perseverance when starting each one - at least, that's what I needed. That's because of working with 4 needles (3 with stitches and 1 to knit with) and starting off with so very few stitches per needle, which I found a challenge. I solved it by starting each as an I-cord for the first two rows, then dividing the stitches onto 3 needles and continuing.
