What was your inspiration?
My grandaughters are getting older and don't play with dolls as much...so I decided a whimsicle doll was just what they needed. They loved them.
What are you most proud of?
I used materials that I recycled. The dolls bodies were vintage damask napkins, their dresses were made from articles of clothing from a thrift shop. I love to repurpose things.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It was a fairly easy pattern, but if you aren't familiar with doll construction, you may want to pick an easier pattern for starters.
