Resin beads and 26 gauge wire.
What was your inspiration?
Though these were inexpensive beads, I love their translucent color and finish. I just think they are wonderfully fun.
What are you most proud of?
I am pleased with the playfulness of this piece. While it looks heavy, it is extremely lightweight and comfortable to wear. It looks great against any solid summer t-shirt and adds a wee bit of whimsy to a plain top.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Experiment and play. I watched a video which called for three strands of wire crochet. I did about 6 strands and braided all of them together.
