Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: As a beginner, I was feeling the pressure of committing to making someone's wedding cake! The bride chose the colors and flavors and I was a bit hesitant at the combo, but in the end I was proud of the final product. More importantly, the bride was over-the-moon. Onto the next challenge with great trepidation and excitement... on

Thanks! It's chocolate buttercream smoothed with a dry paper towel (and my warm hands). It was easy-peasy! The hardest part, knowing when to stop!

Are you taking the flower class on here? I'm new to this write online baking classes. I would love to take more but don't know anyone taking these classes. Your cake is beautiful. Looks yummy too

Hi Cristina. Thanks so much. The bride said it was yummy! :) I have learned a couple of flower techniques from various Craftsy classes, but this one I actually googled. They flowers are super fun (and forgiving). I would encourage you to try.
