What materials did you use? To get more practice with the ideas presented in this class, I made several small (3/4 size of the original blocks) using different color combinations from my stash.

What are you most proud of? Trying out new color combinations that are much bolder than the colors I usually work with. Making the quilt with the class kit has inspired me!

When I saw the 2nd quilt it thought it was different. It is so interesting how color changes the look. It does look like you changed the placements...again another fun idea. I like them both

Thanks, Uvette. I too found it interesting how very different the pattern looked with the different colors And somehow the different color combinations did seem to call for different arrangements.

Great color work on both projects. Very eyecatching. How are you going to quilt them?

I quilted the orange one using 1/4 inch matchstick quilting that I learned in Jacquie Gering's class - it really pulled it together in a nice way. On the purple one, I tried out embellishing techniques from Stupendous Stitching. That was fun.

It's a happy little quilt - great job.
