What was your inspiration?
I purchased this pattern from the pattern section here on Craftsy...(Pretty Printz Patterns)...I thought it was very cute and since i have an upcoming Arts and Crafts Show, I wanted to see if I could make some to sell...This is the first try. The material I had on hand - it is some "vintage" fabric I got from my Mom - for the outside. The inside I used a red background with white polka-dotted cotton print.
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to follow the directions and have it come out the same dimensions ~ 8 " across the top and ~ 5 " tall . I made one with white rick-rack and one with red rick-rack...see pictures for details.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the pattern first and then print out the pattern - but be sure it is at 100% or it will not be large enough.
