What was your inspiration?
I think I was inspired by the name Cherry Beret. I know it's a bit silly, but hey.
What are you most proud of?
I am really pleased with how easy this pattern is. It is all done on 2 needles, and in just one piece.
I am also pleased with the finished look of the hat. I really wanted to knit a hat that would look great on young folk. The fact my friend's daughter really likes it, was a big compliment. Oh dear, does that make me sound like a granny.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It is really nice when you get to the decreasing at the top of the hat.
