What materials did you use? Swedish tracing paper, plotting paper, and finally, cardboard

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I just wanted to post a picture for anyone who is struggling as much as I did with that first step of making the sloper. In the photo I have 5 different skirt blocks, all of which were altered several times before I finally ended up with a usable sloper (top of the pile). It felt like I would never get there, and I made 3 different muslin mock ups that were unpicked, recut, resewed and altered so many times that they look quite tatty and moth eaten. But I did get there :) (with a lot of help from the best teacher on Craftsy)

Thanks for being honest about all your attempts! I am on sloper 1, cutting out muslin 1 next

Thank you so much for posting your work and talking about your process. I also feel like I will never get there....but I am going to stick with it!
