What was your inspiration?
First day of cold weather in Colorado and my feet were really cold. My daughter has stolen all of my other wool socks so I made these to keep me warm.
What are you most proud of?
That I finally found something to make with the left over chunky wool yarn I have had lying around for years.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
When you are making crocheted slippers make sure you make them just a tiny bit small for your foot because if you make them the same size as your foot they will be too big. Also if you use wool be careful not to throw them in the dryer or you will end up with baby slippers. Which is fine if you actually have a baby but if your baby has size 11 men's feet they won't work. Ha-ha!
