What materials did you use? Seam ripper, scissors, needle, thread, safety pins and measuring tape. This was a hand sewn alteration - no sewing machine because of the sequin and beads.

What are you most proud of? I purchased this dress at Goodwill for $9, it fit with the exception of the shoulders. My purchasing decision was based on my willingness to experiment on an alteration. I quickly discovered I was over my head because of the sequins and beads. I panicked. So I purchased the Craftsy course, "Tailoring Ready-to-Wear". After taking the course I also discovered that alterations for the shoulder area is an advanced alteration which was not offered in the course. However, Angela was very kind and helped me with her tips after viewing my photos. I am proud of completing this overwhelming alteration.
