What materials did you use? Wool, polyester thread, 3/4 inch shoulder pads.

What are you most proud of? Workmanship on collar and sleeves. The collar is even and the sleeves are smoothly

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure the pattern fits properly. Spend the time to cut on the grain and properly mark. Measure to make sure fabric is on the grain.

So after I posted my comments I thought about advice and wanted to encourage sewers to make sure they use precise marking. I now use a tailors tacking and clipping methods together.
