I agree that there doesn't seem to be a lot of monitoring by the instructors or Craftsy staff on these classes. But on the bright side, it can be encouraging for us to try something new or maybe collaborate in order to answer our questions. In looking at the other projects associated with this course, I saw the pattern for the Shapely Tank designed by Joan quite a few years ago. It's under the pics for Joan McGowan Projects. Here's what is in the notes for this pattern.: This project was made as part of a Craftsy course: Feminine Fit Instructions -- The pattern is included in the class materials. So, to answer your questions, no, the pattern for the sweater on this page doesn't appear to be included in the course. I think that only the Shapely Tank is included. Joan is an incredible designer who knows so much about fit and flattering shapely forms. She always has an excellent wide range of sizing. I'm very excited to start taking the class from her!

I have seen and talked with Joan at Stitches West multiple years now. Her patterns truly are amazing. I get to shop for a curvy friend every year. My friend really liked it and immediately made it, Joan has our non - ordinary measurements at heart and with her wide range of sizing, we can use the same whether we go up or down, She wants us all to feel and look feminine as well applaud any of our curves that we really like. Her course is definitely on my list!

I asked some back if this pattern was included. The answer I got was that the shapely Tee shirtpattern is included. So I guess either I have to rephrase the question or the answer was not specific enough. What is the name of the pattern shown on HERE and is it included in the course? A yes or no answer have been okay for last month question. It is somewhat frustrating to have to repest a question, please be more specific this time. Thanks

I too, eagerly await the reply. I'm assuming it's not included, just the tank/t-shirt. Not sure why it's showcased here... But it DOES say "...as part of a Craftsy course." Curious. If you don't get your answer before the sale expires you can always buy, examine and refund. I mean, if that's the only way to get a definitive answer... I think these courses should really be very specific up front on what they include, so a buyer has full details. Are you listening CRAFTSY?

I agree with you there, FibertoFabric. While it was nice that the video shared her mission statement (something that could be includede in her "About the instructor" . I would have preferred the promo video also was more specefic to what is in the class and shown was pattern(s) and techniques are taughts. I have already made multiple purchases in the padt and later has to get refunds, it is a lengthy and sometimes frustrating process (it all done through emails tyhat are not always handled in a timely. manner much like the frustation and delay in some classes and also here! So I prefer not to go that route if I can help it. Even though it is not yhe fault of the consumer, I still do not think it reflect well on them when multiple returns are made. I believe like you, the ad, video and even description like with the image description shown here, they should all be more specific; with any included designs and the name of them, if any, show some of what will be taught or learned in the promo (not just a mission statement) too.

The Green top shown on the cover page of the class is called Zelda and is available in my pattern store here.

If you're asking about the red sweater shown at the top of this page, it is the Clarissa Cardigan and is also available in the Craftsy pattern shop.

The Shapely Tank pattern is included in the course and a selection of my patterns are available as downloads (including the green Zelda sweater) in my Craftsy store.
