What was your inspiration?
A girlfriend was having her second set of twins! A boy and a girl. So we through a diaper shower together for her and our them was blue and pink.
What are you most proud of?
Just the over all look. This was my first time making the pillow style cake.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I covered the bottom half of the cake with fondant first. Then flipped it over iced the middle then put on the top cake layer and then fondant for that piece. This made my seam come out almost perfect. The braiding covered the seam.
