What a fun piece. Great idea to use pinking shears. I'm going to have to dig out my pair and see what I can come up with. This is most inspirational.

When I worked with children I had them learn to say "Go away mean voice, go away. I want to have fun today.". This is important to chant any time an inner voice is saying not good enough or not as good as.

Love, love, love the color combo. And what good advice about asking your inner critic to stay in the background and let you play. I so often have to remember this as with most of us my inner critic likes to be very critical. lol

I had a hard time using the seam ripper. I first tried using some fancy cut scissors I use on paper but they didn't cut the fabric very well. The pinking shears made short work of the needed cutting. I bought a couple of new types of seam rippers to try on the next piece. I love the stitch and slash technique.
