String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn Caper Sock - Skerry. I loved working with this yarn and loved the way the colors blended throughout the shawl. I will definitely be trying more colors of theirs for future projects.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the fact that I actually made this beautiful shawl! I've never tried lace knitting before, thinking it would be too complicated. Laura made it soooo easy with her terrific step by step instructions and videos. What a great way to learn to knit something special! I'm also proud of the fact that my mom loved it and wants one too! On to my next Skywalker I think!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
You can never have too many lifelines!!! Markers were a big help as well...It was a lot easier to catch a mistake early on in one of the marked sections, instead of waiting until the end of a row to realize that the stitch count did not turn out correctly, then having to look back through the entire row for the mistake. (Ask me how I know this!)
