What was your inspiration?
Always wanted to learn how to knit lace. Although I don't have a proper place to block it in my tiny condo I decided to try anyway. This class is wonderful and extremely well taught. I will knit it again in a proper yarn as the one I used does not seem to have good stitch definition. I used this yarn as knitting a lace shawl was an experiment that I was not sure I could finish. It will keep me warm in Maine this winter.
What are you most proud of?
I completed the project with not much ripping out re-knitting and only a few mistakes (I think) :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Enjoy it and use lots of lifelines and stitch markers.
