What was your inspiration?
Skywalker is my first lace shawl project. I learned a lot from Laura Nelkin's class on Mastering Lace Shawls. Thanks, Laura! I am almost finished with my second shawl, Clarus and hope to add beads to it using Laura's Bead Knitting class.

What are you most proud of?
Although my first lace project has mistakes, I love wearing it and get many compliments. I am not sure why I made the edges pointed when blocking, but it came out OK anyway. Note that the picture looks a little like there is a mistake on the left side, but there was something dark underneath in that area when I took the picture.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take your time and enjoy the journey. Laura's class is a great way to learn.
