What materials did you use? MadelineTosh Prairie Laceweight in Filigree - photo doesn't do justice to gorgeous greens in yarn.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't be afraid to venture into lace work - - it's really very easy!

Love this shawl. I have to stop and look every time someone post a picture of their progress. For lack of a better word, the colors of the yarn you chose are simply dream!

Thank you, I definitely will post when I'm finished (altho I knit rather slow due to health issues)...but I love to knit none the less! We have friends who lived in Cardif for several years & when my parents went over to visit they became friends with a couple in Larbert.

I know what you mean. when I was really ill having chemo I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have my knitting to keep me busy.At that time I was knitting slowly too..As Elizabeth Zimmermann used to say-in all times good and bad keep knitting !

thanks for posting, I was started to freak out because my galaxy sts are big. :) this looks almost exactly like mine. I just started knitting my shawl yesterday and love it, mine is light blue/ purple.
