What advice would you give someone starting this project?

it is actually pretty easy but do give yourself quiet time to figure it out if you haven't done lace before...don't freak about ripping back but do think about putting lifelines

knit picks stroll tonal in spring (I think it is spring) wool and nylon sock yarn and you would use tow skiens for this size with some left over.

Congrats on your 1st shawl...and I love your Cardigans! We have a spoiled sable Cardi female who's the joy of our lives & the bain of all the squirrels on the property : D
