What was your inspiration?
Really? Our teacher Laura Nelkin. When looking through the course materials I couldn't wait to sign up.
What are you most proud of?
That I finished it and in less than a month and didn't set it aside while working on it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Go through the class materials and look at portions of the video, get used to taking an online class like this. Look at the other class students work and comments. Then buy some yarn that you will enjoy working with and make sure you have all your needles and tools ready to go and begin.
I don't have a speciality yarn store in my town and had to use the sock yarn for my first project. I was on vacation and bought some beautiful lace yarn for my next shawl project with Laura.
