This is my first lace knitting project. Laura is an excellent instructor; she will guide you effortlessly through each step. Before starting on the shawl, I made gauge swatches; good thing as I had about 20 inches of yarn to spare at the completion of the project! I used flexible blocking wires (from Inspinknity), feeding one of the wires through the a semicircular portion of the scarf near the outer edge, which really helped in evenly blocking the shawl.
