What materials did you use? I am using Wendy "Happy" 4ply. Its a lovely soft silky yarn made of 75% Bamboo and 25% nylon. Colour calls itself Virgo, I am more inclined to call it raspberry ripple!! Easy to work with but does have a slight tendency to split when undone too often!!

What are you most proud of? Sticking with it and undoing it several times until I got it right!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be patient with yourself, you learn as much by undoing as by doing! I think that it would make it harder if any yarn thinner than our English 4ply was used.

Your shawl is beautiful! Thanks for including complete information about the yarn; it is pretty enough that I'm going to look for it.

Thanks CCaarrooll for your lovely comment. its not only pretty but feels warm and silky too. it also has the benefit of being machine washable!
