What was your inspiration?

I loved the fabric it was so fun and it made a great sweater.

What are you most proud of?

Adding the pockets from the pants pattern. I am hoping to also add a front pocket if I can line it up properly so as to enhance the fabric.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Love the triple stretch stitch (except when I had to rip some out), it took a little searching to find it on my Janome. It is really strong and stretchy!

You've inspired me - I don't often wear hoodies so wasn't planning to make one, but yours is so cuddly and attractive any one would love to wear it! Thanks also for the triple-stitch tip.

Thank you, I hope you can find some equally cozy fabric. You are most welcome for the tip, did you find it on your machine?

Very Nice! Did you use stretch stitch for the whole garment or just in some parts? IS your triple stretch stitch sign same as what the teacher decribed? I couldn't find the same sign that she recommended!

I did use the triple stretch for the whole thing, It takes a little longer because the stitch is quite slow even at full speed but the stretch it gives is worth it. I have a Janome machine so the icon for it is 3 dashed lines. I found it by testing out the stitches I didn't know, on a scrap, until I found it.

That is great fabric! I like how you used it. Looks like a comfortable hoodie.
