Knitting: Sky Walker Lace Shawl

Sky Walker Lace Shawl

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Knit This: Mastering Lace Shawls »

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic

Materials

I used a lace weight 100% baby alpaca yarn.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The best advice I can think of would be to place life lines in strategical points in your work. This will save you a lot of extra work when you make a mistake... well it did for me :-).

Wow, that's stunning! Good job blocking it also.

Thank you, it took me quite a long time to pin the edge. But then it took much longer to knit it, so it was worth it :-).

Thank you, but haha, mine is for sure not perfect. I understand your being reluctant to knit with a black yarn, I also find that very intense to work with. It puts a strain on my eyes. But on the other hand, I think it would look sensational.
