Pattern Info
Instructions
i ventured slightly away from the pattern and added a snap to the big inside pocket because it's kinda droopy when you put things in it. and i added an extra piece of fabric to the bottom so i could slide in a piece of corrugated plastic for stability on the bottom. :)Difficulty:

Style: Cute, Goth, Casual
Materials
cotton fabric, batting, bias tape, zipper, small piece of ribbon, small plastic sew-in snap, corrugated plastic
What was your inspiration?
i wanted a small purse that i would actually use. i used to be a non-purse carrying type. put my ID and bank card in back pocket. i saw a few of the Vera Bradley bags and thought they were cute, but didnt really like her fabric choices nor her prices!
What are you most proud of?
that i didnt buy pre-quilted fabric for this one. i put together the 3 layers (skull, batting, black) and quilted the fabric myself (lots and lots of somewhat (lol) straight lines!)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
patience patience patience! especially after it's all put together and you're doing the bias tape on the inside to hide the raw edges. putting the pieces together wasn't bad at all..it was the bias tape part that i hated! lol
