What was your inspiration?
Baby quilt ( why is it always a baby quilt?!) for couple who met at Insane Clown Posse concert. Really. Needed a simple pattern to showcase the large print. The magazine sample used larger scale cheerful snowman fabric.
What are you most proud of?
I love that i used all fabrics from the stash and that it all came together pretty well. It was the first time I pieced a medallion back....waaaaaaayyy before Modern Quilts, as not enough sugar skulls for a complete back. Pretty proud of the quilting, as pushed myself to machine quilt the skulls without free motion.
Cheeky and it makes me smile!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Super easy project, however, use a design wall or camera to check your color/pattern placement. I did not, so it's unbalanced.:(
